Tamika and her co-author, Marla Woody, came to us with a single picture as inspiration, an early spark of what they wanted their book to become. From that first image to the finished, gorgeous product in their hands, the transformation was, in Tamika’s own words, night and day.
What stood out most was how collaborative and responsive the process felt. A detailed questionnaire early on captured exactly what they envisioned, additions, illustrations, tone, giving them a structured, user-friendly way to share their vision from the start. From there, communication stayed consistent and fast: revisions came back within days, and they never had to chase anyone down, with multiple ways to stay in touch, email, text, or otherwise, so nothing fell through the cracks.
The final book delivered on every front. Tamika, Marla, and their families loved the illustrations and color scheme, and Tamika’s husband called it the best book she’d done yet. They also appreciated having flexible package options to choose from, along with how-to videos that made the process easier to navigate at every step.
Tamika is already planning to keep the momentum going, ordering copies to share and donating hard copies to her local library so even more readers can discover it.
“You brought our vision to the paper. We love the illustrations, we love the color scheme, just everything. It really tells the story. My favorite part of the process was how user-friendly it was, and everything I asked for, you produced. I love the packages, the price point, you had different packages for everything I could want, and the how-to videos and everything was very helpful.”
